Welcome to Veterans Home Care
Our exclusive VetAssist® Program helps veterans, or their surviving spouses, apply for a little-known Department of Veterans Affairs benefit to pay for assistance with activities of daily living. We can get home care started before the VA processes the claim and before our clients receive VA funds.
We provide a 0%, interest-free loan so home care can begin almost immediately. The loan can be reimbursed with funds from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) upon approval of the Aid and Attendance benefit. The VetAssist Program also furnishes continuing client service and on-going compliance monitoring, all with no out-of-pocket costs.
You could receive up to $27,195 annually through the Aid & Attendance Pension.
Our VetAssist Program can help you apply for the VA's Aid and Attendance benefit and access the home care you need.
Our Story
Veterans Home Care was founded in 2003, after Edith Sperling, mother of our founder, Bonnie Laiderman, passed away from cancer. Late in Edith’s illness, Bonnie learned of a Department of Veterans Affairs pension known as “Aid & Attendance.” It helps veterans or their surviving spouses receive personal care services to help them retain their quality of life and stay in their homes. Edith was the widow of a Korean War veteran and would have qualified, but by the time Bonnie applied for the pension on her mother’s behalf, it was too late. Edith passed before the approval process was complete. Bonnie vowed to help make this pension available to as many deserving veterans as she could, and Veterans Home Care was born. Our Mission

I just wanted to thank you for your assistance with getting my Dad’s VA benefits started. I am 100% sure we would not have gotten the benefits without your assistance. This benefit has made all of our lives much better in this difficult time and we would not have it if it were not for your help. Thanks from our entire family for what you do for veterans!Check your Eligibility
