Veterans Day at Veterans Home Care of Texas

Eric Leonard, Brandon Rhodes, SanJuana Monsivais, & Liza Taylor, Veterans Home Care of Texas, were in the annual Veterans Day Parade at Sundance Square in Fort Worth. This year the parade celebrated the U.S. Flag and the 200th Anniversary of the National Anthem. Even faced with heavy winds and a wind chill of 24 degrees, they attended to show support to local Veterans.

Michael Drennan, of the Veterans Home Care of Texas office in Houston, was at the Veterans Cemetery with his father-in-law, to help ROTC cadets honor veterans by placing flags on all the graves. With them is 16-year-old Jacob, who plans to follow in his father’s footsteps and join the Navy.

Veterans Home Care of Texas’ Craig Adams was part of the Veterans Day celebration at the Crisman School in Longview Texas, where his wife is a teacher. Adams, a veteran himself, told the gathering of several hundred about the VetAssist® Program and how it helps veterans and their surviving spouses. Craig is pictured here with a student who wanted his picture taken with a “real veteran.”
